Cash for Junk Cars IncChicago Junk Car Buyers

From first call to payment: how a sale goes

What are the steps to sell a junk car to you?

Describe the car, hear the offer, confirm your papers, pick a time, and hand over the car when the truck arrives. Chicago Junk Car Buyers tows it free from anywhere we cover on the Far South Side and pays you at pickup in cash, Zelle or Cash App.

Step 1 of 2

Step 1: Vehicle Information

Towing is free, and you're paid when the truck collects the car.

On the phone instead? (773) 200-7724

  1. 1. Tell us about the vehicle

On the form or by phone: year, make, model, what's wrong with it, whether you have the title, and where it's parked. Honest details now mean no surprises at the curb.

  2. 2. We give you a number

We price that car from its weight, its parts, its condition and its papers. You can accept, ask questions or think about it. The offer doesn't expire.

  3. 3. We check the papers

If you have the title, that's simple. If you don't, we go through what you do have and tell you plainly whether Illinois rules let it support the sale.

  4. 4. We set a pickup time

Same-day pickup is often possible. We give you a realistic window, and the truck leaves from 11616 S Yale Ave.

  5. 5. The driver loads the car

The driver checks the car matches what you described, checks the papers and your ID, and winches the car onto the bed. It doesn't need to start or roll.

  6. 6. You're paid at pickup

In cash, by Zelle or by Cash App, whichever you chose. The tow is free. Then the car is gone.

Bring these to the curb

The title, or the papers you told us about. A photo ID. The keys if you have them. Room for the truck to reach the car. Our pickup checklist also covers the city sticker, your I-PASS and the plates, and the alley and garage guide helps when the car is boxed in.

Pickup questions

Can you take more than one car on the same visit?

Yes. A single visit can collect several vehicles. Tell us about each one when you call so the right truck comes.

Can someone else hand the car over for me?

Tell us on the call who will be there. Whoever meets the driver needs the papers for the sale and has to receive the payment, so we agree on the details in advance.

What if the driver finds something I didn't mention?

The driver will tell you what's different and why it matters. If the change affects the offer, you can accept the new number or keep the car. That's why an accurate description on the call helps everyone.
